"It's between you and the hill"
About Hillclimb SA
Hillclimb SA was formed in 2022 by a committed group of drivers who recognised a need for greater opportunity, professionalism, and variety within South Australia’s grassroots motorsport landscape.

Motivated by their shared passion for the sport, and a desire to create events that genuinely prioritise competitors, they established a club built on integrity, community, and continuous improvement.

From its inception, Hillclimb SA has focused on fostering an environment where every participant is treated with respect and supported to achieve their personal best — regardless of experience level. Our events are structured to accommodate a broad spectrum of drivers, from first-time entrants exploring motorsport for the first time to accomplished competitors seeking high-quality events, refined processes, and fair, transparent competition.

Today, Hillclimb SA stands as a forward-thinking organisation that values professionalism, safety, inclusivity, and collaboration. We aim to not only deliver exceptional motorsport events, but to also contribute meaningfully to the growth and sustainability of the sport throughout South Australia.

We are proud to be the first SA Motorsport Australia Affiliated club to run Electric Vehicles in and at our events. We spent a lot of time in discussion with Motorsport Australia formatting safety plans to accommodate the EV's. We started with our Atom Sprints where they have run since 2024. We also successfully an EV's at the Motorsport Australia National Hillclimb Championship in 2026 and the Bend Classic Hillclimb in 2025 which were the first Hillclimbs in SA for eV's to participate. We continue to expand the events that EV's are run at with the 2026 Motorkhana series round 1 being the first Motorkhana that an EV had competed, and continue to run them at our Atom Sprints.
Our Officials are fully trained with and up to date with the current Motorsport Australia EV safety requirements. We have all the necessary safety equiptment.

Community
We believe motorsport should be accessible to everyone with a passion for driving. Our culture encourages participation across all backgrounds, experience levels, and vehicle types. We take pride in creating an environment where all members and competitors feel welcome and valued.
Safety is the foundation of every event we run. From experienced officials to carefully planned procedures, we uphold high standards of risk management, communication, and event control. We continually assess and refine our practices to align with evolving safety expectations in the sport.
We operate with integrity, transparency, and accountability. Our team consists of trained officials, experienced organisers, and dedicated volunteers who work together to ensure every event is conducted efficiently and to a high standard.
