About Hillclimb SA

Hillclimb SA was established in 2022 by a passionate group of drivers who shared a vision: to create motorsport events that truly put competitors first. Frustrated by a lack of opportunities and variety in local grassroots motorsport, this group of like-minded enthusiasts came together to start something new — a club driven by passion, community, and a desire to make everyone feel welcome.

From the very beginning, Hillclimb SA has been about building a space where all drivers feel included, respected, and heard. Our events are designed to suit a wide range of drivers, vehicles, and skill levels — from those experiencing motorsport for the first time, to seasoned competitors chasing personal bests and championship wins.

We believe motorsport should be:

Inclusive — open to anyone with a passion for driving.
Safe — with well-managed events and a strong culture of looking out for each other.
Fun — because at the heart of it all, we do this for the love of motorsport.
Community-driven — where every competitor, official, and spectator is valued.

What We Do Hillclimb SA organises a variety of motorsport events throughout the year, including:

Hillclimbs — time-based racing up challenging, closed-road courses.

Sprint Series — such as our popular Atom Sprints, combining speed, skill, and friendly competition on tarmac layouts.Driver

Training and Development Days — providing newcomers with a safe, supportive environment to learn and improve their skills.

Community-Focused Events — where we work with local businesses and regional communities to support local economies and promote motorsport at all levels.

We also support other motorsport events around South Australia, with our members volunteering at various competitions as officials, timekeepers, and event managers.

Collaboration is a big part of what makes Hillclimb SA unique — we believe in growing the sport as a whole, not just our own events.
